Now That’s Hot.

It seems like just yesterday that new father-in-law Bush admitted that, gasp!, the world’s climate is experiencing some changes and goshdarnit, global warming just might have something to do with it. Now that we’ve reached this groundbreaking conclusion, it might be time to do something about it, other than saying there’s not much to do about it. 2007 Australian of the Year Tim Flannery proposes (though not with a ring) global dimming – spreading sulfur through the air via jet fuel to keep out the sun’s blinding rays. Other than having a not-quite-blue sky, any other predicted changes are a little shaky. We can only hope these changes won’t be so hot.
