Wimbledon is one of the most pretentious sporting events in the world…and we drink it up. So could it be more fitting that our two favorite egomaniacal tennis divas, the Williams Sisters, met in today’s women’s final?

You should have seen the beautiful smorgasbord that was prepared for our Wimbledon brunch. It was truly a vision to behold. From the mound of Hudson Valley strawberries to our New Jersey spuds, we kept it as local as possible. Even our breakfast bangers were made of swine from, where else, Long Island. Unfortunately, the Cristal for our Strawberry Bellinis was from France. Some things can’t be compromised.

If it makes you feel better, the Natty Light we’ll be shot gunning tonight is "eco-friendly." In cahoots with The Conservation Fund, the Natural brand of beers is participating in the "Keep it Natural Carolinas" campaign aimed at preserving the natural resources of North and South Carolina. Look at you, Natty Light! If we don’t drink too many, we might do this all again tomorrow when Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal meet in the men’s final.

Yea, it’s not happening.
