Britney Spears: “What the HELL was I thinking?”

On the heels of the release of new single “Womanizer” and her overall cleanup at the VMAs, Britney’s teamed up with MTV for a 90 minute special entitled “For the Record.” Don’t tell anyone, but we teared-up a bit at the preview. Brit’s come so far in the past few months, and this video clip just further enforces the hope that she’s turned over a new leaf. Watch the clip yourself, and try to hold back your tears of happiness when Brit says in disbelief, “I’m a smart person. What the HELL was I thinking?”

Oh, Brit! That sentence is like (really good pop) music to our ears. The music video for “Womanizer” aired on 20/20, and her new album, “Circus” is slated to drop on December 2nd (Brit’s 27th birthday). We’ll, of course, be buying the album in hard copy. True fans like us can recycle their CDs, so they can be devoted and green at the same time. Ah, to get the best of both worlds.
