It’s common knowledge that a certain member of our team loves all things teenybopper, so it should come as no surprise that she has a biiig soft spot for Zac Efron. Back in the day, her soft spot was for Leonardo DiCaprio, but let’s get real. Leo passed his prime a while ago; around the same time JTT stopped being a household name (Oh JTT, dial them digits and call a sistah up!).
In a new interview, Leo admits that his time as a sex symbol is over, claims he never even wanted it, and says he’s happy to hand it over to Zac. Of Efron, he says he has “total respect for how young stars like Zac handle it all.” So the torch passing has commenced. Go get ‘em, tiger, and preferably, leave Vanessa at home. She’s dulling your shine.
What we want to know: can Zac take on Leo’s planet-saving tactics as well? Leo’s pretty green. He drives his hybrid car to his solar paneled apartment; he co-wrote and produced The 11th Hour, a documentary about our planet in peril. Being a sex symbol super celebrity is all well and good, but only if you put it to good use.
