We knew this was coming. We just didn’t expect it would come so soon. Just a week after her divorce from Guy Ritchie was finalized, Madge played the final show of her Sticky and Sweet tour in Miami, and guess who was seen sitting front row? A-Rod!
Alex Rodriguez, who has been rumored to be Madge’s sweetheart for quite some time, publicly confirmed their romance in a swift and small gesture: throughout the show, A-Rod played Madonna’s water boy.
We won’t judge. We think it’s cute. THE pop star and a hot athlete? Tres adorable! The only problem we have with all of this is that A-Rod handed Madge a plastic water bottle. Plastic bottles make a crapload of waste, and given that most stars (Madonna included) tend to drink multiple bottles in the course of one show, we’d like to suggest an alternative. Think about it. Let’s say M drinks 5 bottles/show. She’ll play over 60 shows total in the tour. That’s over 300 bottles headed to the landfill.
However, if A-Rod would be so kind as to purchase Madonna a Nalgene, she could use the same bottle each time. Christmas is coming, Alex…
