Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Don’t Endorse Christmastime Materialism

Brad Pitt recently admitted Christmas with the kids isn’t about big ticket items but rather homemade gifts. He claims their children don’t even want expensive toys because they don’t watch American TV. Mr. Jolie feels that television advertisements manipulate kids into wanting toys. Instead, the entire brood makes a homemade gift for one of the others and they all exchange them on Christmas Day.

But why stop at homemade gifts? The Jolie-Pitts could make a homemade tree out of glass bottles. The design firm Paprika recently created a dazzling Christmas installation of over 300 recycled mineral water bottles hung at various lengths to create the shape of a tree. That would keep the kids busy for a while!
