If Heath Ledger Wins a Posthumous Oscar, Father Will Accept

Hollywood’s biggest night of self-congratulations and green partying, the Oscars, is this Sunday, February 22. If the Academy deems to give Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight a statuette, Ledger’s father Kim will be on hand to say a few words. Ledger is definitely the favorite for the award, but there is buzz that Seymour Philip Hoffman could steal the award away (again). Yet, knowing how Hollywood loves to get all sappy about itself during the Academy Awards, Ledger’s win is practically guaranteed.
