Angelina Jolie Rocks What is Basically a Play on the Coonskin Cap

Angelina Jolie was spotted filming on Staten Island, NY Tuesday. She was on the set of her new action flick, Salt, in which she plays a CIA agent trying to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian spy. In the set pics, Angie’s costume consists of a a fur-trimmed poncho with matching Russian hat. Even though faux fur may not be eco-friendly in and of itself, since it is usually made form some type of synthetic material, it is still the better alternative to killing animals for their fur. There are several artists on Etsy making similiar hats and ponchos using faux fur, some are even combining the fake stuff with other all natural materials. Maybe Angie’s costume designer should take note.
