After being militarily defeated, the Sri Lankan separatist group, The Tamil Tigers, decided to end the 25-year long civil war. Although the war is over, the group’s spokesperson announced they remain committed to their cause, which paves the way for possible future attacks.

Here at Beanstockd, we’re definitely fans of reusing old things, not throwing anything out etc. But even we have our limits. ABC has renewed the sitcom Scrubs for its ninth season. Scrubs is a great show, but seriously how long can they keep this going? JD is only cute for so long.
Speaking of oldies, former teenage heartthrob Luke Perry has agreed to appear on 90210 2.0. Despite initial reports of hesitation, he’ll reprise his role as Dylan McKay, joining old castmembers Tori Spelling, Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth.
On Thursday, the House of Representatives green-lighted a $6.4 billion proposal to make schools greener. The bill would provide funds to modernize schools and make them more energy efficient.
