For true fans of Desperate Housewives, the two hour season finale was a real double whammy. Viewers watched with bated breath as this season’s villain, Dave attempted to kill poor little M.J. (son of Susan and Mike). Thankfully, Dave’s scheme was aborted just in time for Mike to save both Susan and M.J. As the episode came to a close, Mike and Susan made out like maniacs (FINALLY!) and Dave went to a mental hospital (double FINALLY!).
Then, there was a wedding! Mike married someone, but no one knows who. We’re going to have to wait a million months to see who it was Mike smooched at that ceremony, which is pretty much equivalent to dangling Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf in front of rabid Gossip Girl fans without ever getting the two together.
In between all this drams, Lynette found out she was pregnant (again) with twins (again), Gabby and Carlos took in a teenager who (surprise, surprise) is a really hot brat, and Bree finally made out with her hot piece of ass divorce lawyer Carl.
Basically, the greatness factor of this episode was almost as high as the news that Obama is set to announce a national emissions standard tomorrow. That’s right, drivers and vehicle makers of America – by 2016, all cars sold will be required to get 42 miles per gallon. As a result, cars and trucks will be almost 30% greener by 2016.
Tell us, beanies. What’d you think of DH, and more importantly, what do you think of this new standard? We’re on board – are you?

I think Mike married Susan. It was clear they were still in love with each other, and almost losing them is a great wake up call! I also think the new emissions standard is great and Obama is moving our country in the right direction.
