Miley Cyrus and BCBG's Max Azria

Fashionista by Ashley David - Click for more from The ClotheshorseThe next celeb to do a designer collaboration? None other than Miss Miley Cyrus. That’s right, she’s collaborating with BCBG designer Max Azria – for a line that will sell in the juniors section of Walmart. I love me some Miley, but the girl ain’t no fashionista. However, if this means she’ll be around the Fashion Week tents come September, I’m all for it.

Dolce & Gabbana, however, think they’re too good for a diffusion line. When asked if they’d consider designing for say, H&M, they frowned and said that kind of exposure could be dangerous. GASP, poor people buying D&G? Atrocious!

Carlos Falchi for TargetTarget has bagged Carlos Falchi as their next designer collab. Except faux-snakeskin bags in bright colors. Also, expect it to sell out, because I’ll be buying every single piece!

Pop stars have all but given up on wearing pants, but if you’re scared to take the pantless plunge and still want to be a daring fashion diva, check out these leggings…with CAGES around them. Like those to die for cage shoes, except on your legs.

Melissa Joy Manning White Flower Crystal RingPlease god, if and when I ever get married, please let my boyfriend propose with this white flower crystal ring from Melissa Joy Manning’s sustainable line of jewelry. It’s 14k and too pretty to pass up. If only I had $575 dolla bills.

Jimmy Choo is designing a limited edition accessories collection called Project PEP to benefit Elton John’s AIDS Foundation. Doing good and looking good!

Please lord, let this rumor be untrue. Lindsay Lohan, purveyor of spray tans and padded leggings, is “in talks” to assume the role of creative consultant at the House of Emanuel Ungaro. Word on the street is that designer Esteban Cortezar is threatening to leave if LiLo comes.

A while back, the buzz in the fashion community was all about Anna Wintour approaching Queen RiRi for a Vogue cover. Apparently RiRi’s nude pics have smashed her hopes and dreams of grabbing the coveted spot in the mag. Baby V, guess this means you’re out too.

Libertas sandalsChristopher Kane’s latest collection for Topshop is being kept under wraps until the big reveal, but Style Bubble’s Susie previewed the 39-piece collection and defies us not to find something we like.

While you’re at it, big man, I’d also love a pair of these Libertas sandals. They’re crafted with recycled scraps of sustainably-farmed, chrome-free, never-endangered whipsnake leather, manufactured in small quantities and shipped in recycled paper boxes.
