I still can’t believe Michael Jackson died. I’ll always love MJ and I know he didn’t touch those boys. He was the perfect celebrity. Along with his otherworldly talent, his demeanor, insecurities and outrageous antics are the stuff of gossip legend. Remember when Michael showed up in court almost two hours late wearing what appeared to be a tuxedo jacket over his pajamas? WHO DOES THAT?!?! Better yet, can we talk about how unbelievable the “Bad” video is? So a while back we wrote about e-waste—old computers, TVs and the like that become hazardous in landfills. Well, with last month’s nationwide conversion to digital televisions came a new set of rules. Many states require that companies take back and properly dispose of their old gadgets because so many old TV’s became obsolete. Now, there are all sorts of places to take this stuff which is good for me because the last time I had to throw out a TV I leaned out my tenth floor window and dropped it onto the pavement below to see how far the smithereens would fly. It was pre-Beanstockd and it was pretty awesome, actually.
