Stella McCartney for Gap

Fashionista by Ashley David - Click for more from The ClotheshorseWe’ve got our first look at Stella McCartney’s GAP Kids ads. How adorable are these children? She found them on Facebook.

Remember that line Ruffian was doing for Anthropologie? Fabsugar got a sneak peek. The line will feature not just clothes but also candles, glasses, and the brand’s book: Ruffian: Inside Out.

OMFG, you guys. Blake Lively convinced Victoria Beckham to appear on Gossip Girl this season. Apparently, the two met at Posh Spice’s Paris runway show, confessed their mutal love, and the rest is history.

Win a trip to New York Fashion Week come February! Rowenta (yes, they of irons) are offering lucky winners a free trip to NYC from Fashion Week in February. It includes a hotel stay, tickets to shows, and a $1,000 shopping spree. Enter here. You have until December!

Erin WassonMoschino plans to launch a contemporary line with a lower price point a la Marc by Marc Jacobs. The parent company already has Moschino Cheap and Chic (chic but definitely not cheap), but Love Moschino will have prices ranging $165 to $445.

This is odd. Queen of Grunge Erin Wasson, who just showed her collection for skater brand RVCA at NYFW, has popped up in the J.Crew catalogue. The queen of messy hair as the spokeswoman for the preppy purveyor? Strange, no? I will say, I like Erin better when she’s smiling.

Jewelry designers Elizabeth and Kathryn Fortunado’s latest collection is a vacation in a box – or should I say in a necklace? The girls were inspired by a recent trip to India. If you can’t afford to travel, might I suggest one of their necklaces?

Who would have thought Anna Wintour totally believes in recycling (outfits, that is)! She told NYMag’s Cut Blog that she’ll “wear the same dress twenty times.” She even told them she recommends wearing the same outfit twice. Hell hath frozen over.

Target has bagged another collaboration, this time with Jean Paul Gaultier. The retailer makes their designers choose an inspiration (remember Anna Sui’s Gossip Girls), so JPG has chosen “the American woman.” We all know that means Madonna, who he’s been dressing for years. Cone bras for everyone!

Ecouterre put together a great list of fab green winter coats. Check it out here!

Stella bootsTamara Mellon wants us to know that her Jimmy Choo collection for H&M is definitely real leather. You know, so PETA can have a field day when the line hits stores. We’d prefer Stella McCartney’s vegan leather pair, thank you very much.

Vogue’s Grace Coddington is a former model, and she remembers the pressures that the fashion industry puts on its girls to be super thin. On Tuesday night at the New York Public Library, she spoke about her concerns that models today are too young and too thin. She also touched on this debacle.

If you’re wondering why the women in the industry are too thin, here’s a reason: because stylists like Robert Verdi say things like, “I think food is for fat people and poor people.” Clearly, “rich people don’t eat. They get dressed up and go shopping.” So that’s why rich people are so thin and thin people are so rich. They save money on food!

Nicole Richie apparently wasn’t content with the success of her House of Harlow accessory line, and has decided to expand her empire to include a contemporary clothing line. Winter Kate, which will contain 37 pieces, will debut this spring. The most expensive piece, a leather jacket, comes in at just under $600; Richie claims she wants her fashion to be accessible.

Vogue’s Hamish Bowles roughed it in the wilderness for the magazine’s “environment” issue, and he thinks that while Anna Wintour could have stuck it out, A.L.T. might have had some trouble.

Fashionista got a peek at J.Crew’s spring collection yesterday, and dare I say it? I’m in love. I’m not usually a fan of the preppy retailer, but I can’t resist a heavily layered look.
