New Moon’s Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella Swan’s “friend from school” Jessica Stanley, is about to get super famous. She’s co-starring alongside George Clooney in Up in the Air, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination and lots of Oscar buzz. And she looks stunning in this Vanity Fair photo.
Looks like Lindsay Lohan is greener than we thought! She’s getting into the holiday spirit by selling her used clothing and shoes on her family’s website, LohanHouse.
Speaking of Lilo, she’s really screwed things up at Ungaro. Mounir Moufarrige, who got Lindsay involved in Ungaro in the first place, is stepping down from his position as president at the fashion house, leaving before he can make things any worse. So much for standing up for his decisions.
V is following Glamour’s example and utilizing plus-size models in their upcoming issue. EIC Stephen Gan must be magic, because he convinced self-professed fat hater Karl Lagerfeld to shoot the girls. Jezebel talks about the problems of shooting plus size models (most importantly – plus size models are different from plus size women).
The third issue of uber-stylist Katie Grand’s new fashion magazine, LOVE, will hit newsstands in time for Fashion Week here in New York (February 11th!). It features a stunning and long legged Lara Stone. Seriously, is she a mere mortal? I think not.
We’ve got our first look at Lady Gaga’s campaign with Cyndi Lauper for M.A.C. For once, she a) looks pretty and b) left the crazy face coverings at home. Girls just wanna have fun!
Ever wondered what Erin Wasson wants for Christmas? Check out her letter to Santa (along with that of Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, Jenni Kayne and more).
Ecouterre’s got an interesting piece on why we’re more likely to buy organic baby clothing than organic clothing for ourselves. When it comes to baby clothes, organic is associated with quality – yet, it’s almost the opposite when it comes to adult clothing. What gives?
Check out these paper stilettos from concept agency Le Creative Sweatshop. They’re not wearable, but god, if they were…paging Lady Gaga.
Nylon got a look at Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s line for JCPenny, OlsenBoye. It’s not quite inspirational, and it’s certainly a far cry from their current wardrobes, but when everything retails for under $50, can you really complain?
Alex Wang’s Spring 2010 braid is soon to be everywhere. Get your extensions out now, ladies.
Kellan Lutz is the new Mark Wahlberg of Calvin Klein. As in, he’s soon to to be the guy gracing billboards and glossies in his tighty whities. Seems Lutz is the stomach-worthy sucesssor of Marky Mark. Having met the guy, I can say I agree.
