Fashionista by Ashley David - Click for more from The ClotheshorseThe Sex and the City 2 trailer recently debuted, and it seems the ladies have ditched their Manolos for Louboutins. The preview is essentially a giant infomercial for designer duds, from Charlotte’s Dior suit to Miranda’s YSL Tributes. The ladies must be raking it in! SJP, who, you may have noticed, had her “signature” mole removed this past year, has told reporters that this movie is a bit more fluff than the first one. Thank god — I needed a whole box of tissues each time I saw movie #1 in the theaters. Anywho, it appears the ladies travel to Morocco (so hot right now), during which time Carrie sports many a designer turban (obvi). The other ladies, though featured in the trailer, don’t hold a candle to the number of “Carrie” references in the trailer, but it seems Miranda is still red headed and uptight, Charlotte’s second daugher is now two, and Samantha is still Samantha — hooking up with everything with two legs and a working hose. Here’s to spending May 28th, 2010 in the movie theater, surrounded by popcorn and Halston, of course.

We wished (for) a merry Christmas and a happy new year, and it looks like America is finally getting its wish. You see, people went shopping this holiday season! Last year, sales dropped 2.3%, but this year, sales increased 3.6%!

6126Lindsay Lohan is dating male model Adam Senn, who you might remember from season one of The City. He dated fellow rexi-model Allie Crandell — but now he’s dating LiLo and it’s getting serious! Linds brought Adam to her sister Ali’s 16th birthday party last week!

Speaking of LiLo, she’s extending her 6126 line — we’re going to be treated to not just leggings, but a hundred pieces of sluttastic clothing! You know — bustiers, short, tight dresses — in essence, Lindsay’s own closet, reworked.

Alexander Wang’s Spring 2010 lookbook is, given the sporty theme of his collection, quite feminine. Peep Hanne Gaby Odiele, Anja Rubik and more here.

I’m loving Gale Parker’s new line, Clothespin. The pieces are made from “authetic, never worn vintage materials, organic yarn, and refurbished original vintage pieces.” Parker’s motto? Living life well and allowing others to do the same by utilizing eco-friendly materials and methods. Amen, sister!

Snooki sans makeupWe’ve got our first look at plus-size model and Hungry author Crystal Renn’s spread for V Magazine. Shot by Terry Richardson, the spread pairs pin-thin model Jacquelyn Jablonski with Renn, provoking the point that “one size fits all.” The clothes, it should be noted, look just as good (if not better!) on Renn. Thoughts?

Vote for your favorite up and coming eco-friendly designer over at Ecouterre! I voted for Mr. Larkin designer Casey Larkin. You know I love her.

Snooki of Jersey Shore posed without makeup for In Touch magazine. THIS IS BIG, people. The girl actually looks sort of pretty without her armor.

Hugo Boss is launching a new eco-friendly humanitarian effort. The brand is teaming up with environmental organization Pur Project to give back to the earth. For each bottle of sold of the Hugo Element and Hugo Man special edition fragrances, Pur will plant a tree in Peru’s rainforest. Gals, this is a great present for your boyfriend…

[...] Last week we talked about Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 expansion. This week, we hear that her supposed BFF “Pootie” Patrick Aufdenkamp stole some of her sketches and planned to present them as his own at Fashion Market Week in February. Linds released a statement, claiming: "I should've known better…But new year for me and a new beginning! Health, happiness, success and love!" [...]
