Back in the day, a certain Calvin Klein underwear ad helped transform Marky Mark into Mark Wahlberg — making him a huge Hollywood star. Kellan Lutz is already a Hollywood star; he plays Emmet Cullen in the wildly successful Twilight movies, and it seems this time, the tables are turned. Instead of CK making Lutz successful, he’s going to bring in the big bucks for them. Lutz is the latest celebrity to strip down to his skivvies for the famous brand, and as of today, the supremely hot (hello 911? I’m on fire) ads have hit the ‘net!
Loyal readers probably know by now that every time I mention Kellan Lutz’s name, I have to mention that I met him. It’s almost as requisite as doing “the scream” when Conrad Birdie swings his hips in Bye Bye Birdie. What, no Broadway fans up in here? Anywho, I met Lutz back in September, and while I didn’t see his “I could do laundry on those” abdominals, I did see his baby blues up close — and man, were those suckers as gorgeous as a pollution-free ocean. Lutz is sure to bring in the big bucks from this campaign — and hopefully with that dough he’ll purchase the latest eco-friendly it car: the Mercedes-Benz BlueTEC Clean Diesel SUV. You know those celebs — the terrain might not be snowy in L.A., but they still need the oversized vehicles. Everyone from Molly Sims to Liv Tyler has been spotted them. Is Kellan next?
