It always comes down to balls doesn’t it? Jesse Jackson was caught on Fox News whispering a frat-boy-like insult that he’d like to "cut his (Barack Obama’s) nuts out”—all because Obama is supposedly “talking down to black people” during his presidential campaign. The statement is especially disturbing considering that The Rev said that he wanted to cut Obama’s nuts “out", and not "off". That means he’s thought about it. A lot.
Jesse Jackson has since apologized for his gross, albeit hilarious statement. However, castration naturally leads us to the topic of population control! Population expert Paul Ehrlich believes that “we are running out of environment” because of overall world growth. There are already lower birth rates in Europe and Japan, but as Ehrlich points out, “there are no consumption condoms.” Ehrlich first explored population control with The Population Bomb, and has recently co-authored The Dominant Animal: Human Evolution and the Environment, which offers solutions other than turning presidential candidates into eunuchs. Unless you are really annoyed by the guy—then it’s ok to go nuts.
