Lindsay Lohan is lending some truth to the phrase blond ambition. The same day that the sometimes actress spent 11 hours in a salon transforming her red roots into a platinum blond coif, it was announced that Lilo scored a role in Grindhouse director Robert Rodriguez’s new movie. The one which is also rumored to be starring Hollywood heavyweights Robert DeNiro and Jonah Hill. Lindsay wasn’t the only it girl to have her day – and hair – brightened. Britney Spears re-joined the ranks of the culturally iconic blonds, spending the day getting her hair did and then at night hitting a club (for the first time since being held under her father’s conservatorship). Being a bottle blonde may mean having more fun, but it also equals major stress on the environment. For Brit and Lindsay’s sake we hope they keep it legal with their new ‘do. As Hollywood history has shown, blondes also have more trips to rehab.
