Kanye’s Comments Came From Cognac

While there’s no good excuse for Kanye’s hostile takeover of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at Sunday night’s VMAs (best of luck to his publicist), new reports are claiming it may have been the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol talking. Throughout the show, the rapper can be seen sippin’ on Haterade a bottle of Hennessey like the class act he has proven to be time and time again. At least Yeezy’s “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” ad-lib was original. Does anyone else recall when Ol’ Dirty Bastard jumped on stage during singer Shawn Colvin’s acceptance speech at the 1998 Grammy’s after his group, the Wu-Tang Clan lost to P Diddy for Best Rap Album? Kanye, we know you sample all your songs, we just weren’t aware you steal other people’s immature outbursts, too.
