On Sunday night, the 62nd Annual Emmys happened. I loved the Glee-influenced opening number (anything where Mad Men's Jon Hamm sings and dances sounds like heaven to me), but I didn't love 90% of the dresses on the red carpet. I'm sorry, but where were all these girls' stylists? The ladies of TV were in dire straits, don't you think? The one dress I positively loved was Jennifer Carpenter's one shouldered gunmetal sequined number. Sister was GLOWING. But you know who didn't glow? Keri Russell. I love me some Keri, thanks to her days on The CW's Felicity, but I didn't love me her boring pink halter dress and that horrible flower she haphazardly pinned into her hair. This is the Emmys, Keri, not a beachfront wedding in Hawaii! And at least get a dress that fits your lady lumps! Also, I usually love January Jones's red carpet choices. The actress doesn't employ a stylist, and yet she usually hits it out of the park. This time, however, the dress wore her. There's nothing wrong with sculptural blue Versace, but January openly admitted that the dress was uncomfortable and made walking difficult. Sister, keep those facts to yourself! Also, Glee's Naya Rivera = horrifying. We know you just broke up with Mark Salling, but that's no excuse to walk the red carpet looking like a hot mess.

We've been following Harry Potter actress Emma Watson's work with British clothing brand People Tree for a while now, and we're happy to see that she's not just committed to lending her famous face to the brand, but to actually helping out in the trenches. Emma recently traveled to Bangladesh to see both the slums of Dhaka, where the garment workers are fighting to make enough to feed their families (they currently make just about /week), and to Swallows, a community that People Tree has created to hand-make their clothes. Swallows, which employs about 200 women, utilizes all natural dyes and houses not just the workers, but their families too. People Tree makes sure that everyone gets fair wages and sanitary, healthy working conditions (unlike what you'll find in Dhaka). When The September Issue hit theaters a while back, there was one person people couldn't stop talking about — and it wasn't Vogue EIC Anna Wintour. Instead, it was creative director Grace Coddington, a former model and fashion industry icon. Coddington, who stopped modeling after a car accident did some serious damage to her face, has for years brought her incredible eye to the pages of the top fashion mag via her styling skills and creative vision. People in the industry worship Coddington, who is about a million times more relatable than Wintour. It makes sense that it's she will pen a memoir of her life as a model and also talk fashion history and what it's like to style for the ice queen. Given her popularity (which skyrocketed after The September Issue hit theaters), Coddington's book is sure to be a hit.

After keeping the world waiting for what felt like an eternity, supermodel Coco Rocha is finally telling the world all about her fairytale wedding to James Conran. Last week, she tweeted the first full-length photo of her Zac Posen-designed wedding gown. This week, she's giving us not one, but two gorgeous behind the scenes mini-films of her big day.

I'm obsessed with Freida and Nellie's diamond-laced friendship bracelets. They're available at J.Crew (the designers forged a fast partnership with the hip retailer just a month ago), and are the perfect marriage of glitz and not-so-glam. These aren't your average friendship bracelets — they're identical to the ones you made with your BFFAEAEAE's at summer camp — except they've got a whole lot more sparkle.

Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week is fast approaching, and with the event's move to Lincoln Center comes a bevy of technological advancements. Perhaps the most important of these updates is the new check-in system, which helps to eliminate paper waste and cut the lines, thanks to a fancy airport-kiosk like check-in method. Many designers are jumping on the bandwagon, trading the fancy paper invites of yore for eco-friendly and efficient email invites and bar-coded confirmations. Gone are the publicists armed with enormous binders; in their place, you'll simply swipe your barcode to receive your seating assignment.

The Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde and her new band partner JP Jones have teamed up to create Fairground Luck, a new sustainable clothing line for rockers like themselves. Hynde, who's a friend of fellow eco-designer Stella McCartney, has been a vegetarian since she was 17 and is a PETA activist — so she says the line will also be animal-skin free. Expect t-shirts, skinny jeans, (non)leather jackets and cowboy boots — all free of animal skin and good for the environment.

In the past few years, Taylor Lautner has gone from pre-pubescent rando to ripped super celeb, thanks to the success of the Twilight movies, in which he plays boy werewolf Jacob Black. These days, he's ridiculously rich, and ridiculously famous, which means we can excuse some diva tendencies now and then. But recent reports, which state that Taylor is suing for emotional distress over the late arrival of a tricked out RV trailer — have us thinking we might have to switch to Team Edward. That's right, folks, Taylor not only ordered a customized gas-guzzling, not-so-eco-friendly-at-all trailer to be delivered to the set of his new movie, Abduction, but he's suing over the thing. You see, the RV was late. And that caused Taylor to feel "annoyed" (unlike Edward Cullen, Jacob Black has a soul, so he can feel things). And now he's taking the case to court. Let's remember: Rob Pattinson got hit by a cab last summer in New York, and he didn't sue. Who's the manliest man now, Taylor?

New Yorkers, prepare yourselves. Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan might get out of rehab earlier than planned, and the first place she'll go is our fine city of Manhattan. That's right, LiLo, who was recently released from her not-even-close-to-three-months jail stay due to overcrowding, might also be getting out of her plush rehab facility sooner than her planned 90 days, and sources seem to think that New York City is just the place for her to reinvent herself. In fact, they've gone so far as to say that New York can save the beleaguered actress from falling down the rabbit hole. Apparently, the fact that Monica Lewinsky moved here after the Clinton debacle and started making handbags and subsequently blended into the crowd means this city can save just about anyone, even home-wrecking political Polyannas and former child stars. We think if Lindsay wants to be saved, she needs to move to a remote island and start weaving her own clothes and baskets from bamboo.

NYFW is fast approaching, and with it comes the second annual Fashion's Night Out celebration, helmed by Anna Wintour and endorsed by Mayor Bloomberg. The new FNO website launched last week, and offers 51 pages of places to be and people to see. You can even create an itinerary to share with your friends — the site allows you to plan your evening by neighborhood, category and more. So, if you're looking for MK&A, select "celebrity." Fashionista compiled a list of their top ten here. As for me? It's made from silk and coated in gold, and might just allow you to sit front row with Anna sans press pass.

The Harry Potter actress, who recently chopped off her locks (maybe she sent them to the Gulf to soak up the oil?), will be bringing the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which she helped design, to the royal family on September 11th as part of a 12-day initiative started by the Prince of Wales to encourage sustainability. Emma can't be there in person, but she's going to make a special appearance via video to introduce the British fair-trade, eco line's newest wares.

This fall, Parsons at the New School will introduce one of the world's first zero-waste fashion courses. The course will be taught in part by Loomstate creator Scott Mackinlay Hahn, whose own label has pledged not to create denim until it can figure out how to do so sustainably, with zero waste. Students in the class will be creating zero-waste jeans, and will explore how to change the way denim is created and cared for, from sourcing fibers that haven't been exposed to pesticides to how often people wash their jeans. The top design will be manufactured by Loomstate's factory in California and will be sold at Barneys next Spring.

M.A.C. has decided not to ship its collaboration line with Rodarte after the brand came under fire for the names used in the collection of makeup. The line was slated to drop in September and was highly anticipated by the beauty and fashion worlds. Inspired by a road trip that Laura and Kate Mulleavy took through Texas, the line was criticized by the blogosphere when word hit that one of the nail polishes would be named "Juarez," after a poor, violence-ridden town in Mexico. Both brands apologized for the snafu, and set p a charity initiative for victims of violence in Juarez, then decided to change the names of the products. Now, they've decided to cancel the line all together in hopes of avoiding more bad press. The thing is, the more they talk about it, the more they draw attention to the original issue — and now, without the line hitting stores, the money going to Juarez will be severely diminished. Did M.A.C. do the right thing?

Poor Claire Danes. Once the envy and love object of teen girls and boys across the country, the former Angela Chase has taken to shilling for everything from eyelash extenders to paint. Miss Danes, who was oh so awesome in My So-Called Life, was just as awesome in a variety of flicks throughout the years. We loved her in Romeo and Juliet, and in the under-appreciated Igby Goes Down. We can't imagine that she's in such dire straits financially that she needs to promote random shizz to pay her bills, but apparently, such is the case.

Claire is the newest spokesperson for eyelash growth system Latisse, which has helped the actress grow, "longer, fuller eyelashes." Um, Claire? That's what mascara is for. Even worse, she spent this past weekend promoting Valspar's new Hi-Def interior paint. Is sister really that hard up for cash? She's diluting her image! Not to mention, if you're looking for interior paint, you should be spending your dough on Freshaire, which has zero VOCs. For the love of god, please, someone give Danes a real job.

We've always thought Kanye West was a bit of an a**hole — remember when he hopped up on stage to steal away Taylor Swift's Best Female Video award at the VMAs last year? Mr. West, who thinks he's the end all and be all of music, recently joined social networking site Twitter, and has been tweeting up a storm. On Sunday, he treated his followers to a morning playlist, and unabashedly admitted to listening to and loving Justin Bieber's song, "Runaway Love", then checked himself and wrote,

"I just did the most cliche celebrity tweet of all time... listening to! When people tweet that I'm always like... uuum great .. so what!"

Bieber, understandably, freaked out, and tweeted to the rapper, "it's not a so what moment for me. I'm 16 and a fan. I'm kinda hyped u are listening to my stuff. Thank u. Nice Sunday morning." A bromance then ensued, and talks of a duet had Bieber nearly peeing in his pants. We'll admit, the idea of Baby Biebs, who we adore, collaborating with West, who we can admit has some serious talent, sets our hearts aflutter. Now, if we could only get West to match Bieber's donation to the Tennessee flood effort, we'd really be cooking.

According to Star magazine, one of the most reliable tabloids in the universe, Miss Miley Cyrus is hounding her parents to sign off on a pair of new boobs. Their "source" (probably some horny old man who has a thing for Cyrus — EW) says she wants them to be as big as Holly Madison's. Here's the thing — Miles is only 17. She's not done growing yet! Not to mention, Barbie-sized boobs would look ridiculous on her. Who does she think she is, Heidi Montag?

The Prius-driving star, who's currently in Michigan filming LOL with Demi Moore, has made no secret of her urge to sex up her image, from her slutty sartorial choices to her feigned kisses with dancers on stage. We understand that she's not a girl, not yet a woman, but we don't think a boob job is the answer. We much prefer Miley when she's getting her good on, not getting her implant on.

Stefano Tonchi's first issue for W (the September issue) has hit newsstands, and the new editor-in-chief is telling folks that he's revamping the mag from an "image-driven" publication to one with articles that you'll actually want to read. Tonchi seems acutely aware of the magazine's placement in the marketplace; he's noted that he didn't want to change the magazine's physical size for fear that it would take away from the stunning visuals that W is known for. While the magazine competes with titles such as Vogue, its success is measured in subscribers, not newsstand purchases, as it's physically too large to fit on the average newsstand. This differentiates W from its competition, but more importantly, it allows Tonchi to step outside the boundaries that other fashion magazines find themselves confined to. The magazine doesn't need an instantly
recognizable face on its cover; hence, the September issue features three different covers and a total of eight cover stars — none of which, save or maybe Emma Roberts — are instantly recognizable to the general public. What say you — will you be buying the new W?

Harper's Bazaar's September issue features stylist Rachel Zoe dying at the hands of several respected designers including Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang (who is seen poisoning her cocktail) and Michael Kors (who is pictured having just murdered Zoe with a shovel). A play on Zoe's popular catchphrase "I die", the shoot also features Francisco Costa and Brian Atwood (whose platforms Zoe dies for on a regular basis).

Last week, Vogue Italia's controversial oil spill editorial, which was shot by Steven Meisel and featured model Kristen McMenamy, made the top of our must-mention list. All over
the blogosphere, lovers and haters alike discussed the photos, many solidly standing on the fence between thinking the shoot took a serious topic and glamorized the turmoil, andthinking that it was a great artistic commentary on the issue. Originally, I fell on the former side — until I read the "seaweed" jewelry McMenamy sports in the shoot is actually sourced from the Gulf. Created by eco-jeweler Kathleen Nowak Tucci of My Sister's Art, the necklace worn in the editorial is made of recycled rubber inner tubes sourced from two Gulf towns — Pensacola, Florida and Atmore, Alabama. Tucci, for her part, claims the shoot was "controversial and interpretative, which is indicative of great artistic expression." Where do you stand?

The City star and Elle creative director Joe Zee has snagged his own show on the Sundance Channel. Zee, who so accurately told Whitney
